it's been 5 months and I still have not got my car back after repeatedly being told it would be done the following week or the next day, started 3 months ago . car got hit while it was there owner said he would take care of the repair and paint my front bumper since the car was at his shop when the damage occurred. now he's trying to make me pay for all the paint and labor. not to mention he bought an engine that needed to be rebuilt (1700 + 2000 machine shop + ?? parts) after I told him I could get an engine that would run perfect for 1500. original estimate was under 4000 now it's closer to 7000. anyone know if contacting a lawyer would be a good idea?
