Drive shaft seal

Had my clutch changed and now I have a leaky driver's side driveshaft leak... Where it goes into the transmission. Guess I'll have to change the seal.
Would anyone if I need to drain the transmission oil to change the seal?
I know I don't need to when pulling the driveshaft.

Yes you would need to drain the fluid when you remove the axle and seal. Either way, it will drain when you remove them, so it will be less messy if you drain it before.

I'd have the passenger side changed too.
