the emulator for it is really awesome, best part is that you can keep hitting the insert quarter button, so for the first time ever, you can win the game

Oh ya...Dalkstarker..now that's da shiznit. Okay, that's it..I'm gonna go find my emulator CD for Callis, and play some damn Darkstalkers and Final Fight.

Nevermind, it looks like you already play it, heheh. That's cool.

I hook my computer up to my 27" TV, my wife and I used to play alotta da Capcom games together. I've got two Microsoft Sidewinders, so it works great!

And you're so right about the quarter thing. I never did beat some of those games, like Magic Sword, in the arcade. It's so good to see the endings finally.

I have most of them, but if you could get me an emulator for Darkstarkers III I'd even pay you for it. I think it was only released on the original Playstation (and the arcade game in Japan only??) I dont know if they make emulators for Playstation games though...

Ya..they do.

EPSXE plays even Jap-spec games. I'll check it out. I have a friend in Japan, that might know how to get ahold of it. I don't think I've ever played DS3 either, so I think you're right.

I downloaded a big file off kazaa that has 100 popular arcade games from the early-mid 90s, it has the Simpsons on it (which is REALLY hard to find) and TMNT

I have a ROM for it, and Ninja Gaiden. Probably 2 of my all time favorite games.

Ya..cool. I've got a couple cd's too with games on them. I burn them as I find them, so if my computer crashes, I don' t have to worry about losing them

I forgot about one of my other fav arcade games. Metal Slug 1,2, and X. Those are classics, too.

I've only played the NES versions of Ninja Gaiden, they were cool, but not my favorite. Did you ever play Strider (arcade)? It's probably one of the hardest games I've ever played, just a plot to make you keep adding quarters

I'm talking about the NES version of Ninja Gaiden. I hated the 2nd one, but the 1st was great. I used to have Strider, NES or SNES.. I can't remember? I sucked at it though, it was a tough game.

If you look closely at the bottom of each page, there's a link for NeoRageX, the emulator that runs the games. It's not the latest version, though, so I'll find the link for it.

Baseball Stars 2 is fuggin' awesome on the NeoGeo. It was one of my favs, too...it's amazing how great a 2D game can be. I'm currently downloading Metal Gear 4, I haven't played that one yet...it looks really good. I just found my Callus and Mame CDs. I forgot how many games I got. I've got everything Final Fight to Willow..heheh.

Here's a few emulators for NeoGeo and Capcom games:

Kawaks - (even better than NeoRageX, and constantly updated) - http://kawaks.retrogames.com/

NeoRageX - ( the original NeoGeo emu, but discontinued, still works great, though..it plays almost all the games) - http://home.swipnet.se/~w-50884/emulator/rage.htm

Nebula - http://nebula.emulatronia.com/indexe.html

If you're having trouble finding a particular rom, let me know, and I'll see if I have it or I can find it.

I'm not sure - Darkstalkers had like 2 other names in Japan, like "Vampire Hunter" and something else. That link has DS caracters in it, but it looks like a puzzle game

Damn, that felt good.

Nah..that's just the pictures for the Arcade cabinet, you know..the parts that tell you how to execute the moves, bla bla. I didn't have a picture of the actual video game to show you.

By the way...anyone remember this game? Escape from the Planet of the Robot Monsters:

I completly forgot about this game..it's a classic! You could blow up stations, and robots, all to save the chicas!

cool, if it is DS3 then please find it

I havent seen that game below, but it looks like Shadowrun

I'm trying to think of some other arcade games I'm looking for. I still need the X-Men one (the one that's like TMNT), the original Gauntlet, the 3-D pac man game (PacMania, I think it was called - I used to go to the pizza parlor every day in 6th grade and play it ), and Dragon Spirit (the one where you're a dragon who can gain extra heads/spit different kinds of fire, etc) - I want this one the most, but it has to be the arcade version

As did I. I had another game on the Sega, I don't recall the name, but you fly in a helicopter. One of the levels you were flying through an underground tunnel and had to avoid the stalagmites and ****.

there was another game for the Sega Master System I used to play alot, but I cant remember the name...it was a game for the light gun, it was kind of like Gotcha for the NES, but you had to shoot these mafia-type gangsters....then there was a bonus level where you had to find the key behind a brick wall by shooting out sections of it

Probably the arcade game I was best at was Soul Edge, which was renamed Soul Blade on the Playstation.

I had the top 6 times on the one I played in the arcade. My best time being around 2 minutes and 5 seconds, my worst time was in the high 3 minute range.

the Bad Dudes arcade game was great, the NES version sucked real bad. Another good one like Bad Dudes/Final Fight was Streets of Rage.

Anyone remember Last Blade? It was a really obscure title, but man..it was freakin' awesome. I thought it was better than SF2 sometimes.

The Samurai Showdown series was great, too!
