Probably not.. what year is your car. You can probably get a gt for around $5-6k now.

There was a guy in nc selling a gt for a little under $5k..not sure if it still is.

the midblade needed a whole new clearcoat. the left side base of the wing had a small crack in the outer fiberglass because I used too long of a screw and it cracked the surface. This one isn't a big deal because it will get covered with primer when you paint it. and finally...the rubbing. F'd up my paint.

I'm pretty sure mine didn't mount correctly either (hence, why there is 2 sets of holes in the base unit), but I'm almost convinced my hatch holes were not drilled correctly so you want to check with filegro and see if the back of the end caps hung over the edge of the trunk on his celi too or if it was just mine that it did that on.

If it really is my old wing, then it should be super cheap. I let him give me $200 something for it and that was 2+ years ago. Don't let me scare you though, it should still be a good part.

woah, hold the phone. Didn't you get your hatch welded shut when your car went in the bodyshop? Don't drill more holes. Trade hatches with me. I'll pay for paint.

unless you have a parts car available probably not. You could trade up and come out with a lot less work involved.

^ I think i can remedy all those problems with some extra elbow grease thanks for the heads up

as for the hatch I wouldn't mind swapping but if the holes weren't drill correctly it would add trouble for me with the fitment of the wing. and I cannot afford the downtime. If you could address these two issues i wouldn't mind swapping hatches with you

my hatch holes were filled & shaved and repainted not wielded shut
i use the space in the back here and there :P

yeah after I posted I remembered the thing with the holes. Oh well. It was worth a shot. If you had another car this would work.

oh, and i'm confident that when the wing is mounted in the proper alignment the contact area under the tips of the endcaps will be minimal. You can probably bring the area down a bit. I'm not sure if the cap is hollow inside though, so don't go too far.

ok so since I am getting the new manifold and stuff I decided it's time to sell my beloved rare @ss intake - my TPR 2piece. It literally takes 5 mins or less to convert from CAI/Short Ram, or vice versa.

I wanted to offer it to you guys first because I would like to keep it around this area rather than selling it to someone out west or overseas. Make me a solid offer and it's yours. I might even be able to get it painted whatever color you'd like. Currently it's a silver that almost matches 1d0 exterior paint.

Was suppose to have one around new years but no date was set.

We are only 25 google minutes away. There is this other guy on the forum that lives near connelly springs and he/she has a cousin that has a celica..so maybe we can meet up?

or we could go to Dave and Busters .... lol ive never been there and itd be a reason to go! but anything sounds good to me. just as long as the parking lot is big enough, and details are completely set before hand.

i remember we tried to do a jacksonville meet, but things changed after I left the house and wasn't able to check the website to find out where everyone was. so i drove and hour up, an hour around, and an hour home.. eventful day

Ok so does anyone want this TPR intake? Since there's only like 50 in existence I wanted to keep it close to home with it's next owner. I'm going to list it later today in the main for sale area unless someone speaks up.

That is correct man!

The wing is very tempting even though I won't use it now. I could put it on my stock hatch where my TRD wing was incase I ever sell the carbon fiber hatch and go back to stock.

It's the thought that counts carbon. But I think it had too many bubbles in the epoxy. Will sell cheap..trying to find out how thick they do the top coating to see if it's that bad.

Nam, buy this and paint it silver. The carbon probably could have been fixed though unless the bubbles were really deep into the epoxy.

At least $100. I was hoping to get close to $150 but i'm open to negotiation.

Before I can sell it I need a new set of the silcone couplers that connect the pipes. One got old and dry, and ripped open. They were blue but I am replacing with black since it's more of a generic color. Also includes the little 3" VSV filter and instructions.

How far toward the passenger side of the car does the intake go before it bends down?

That's where my cruise control sits now, I was wondering if it would fit in there.
