Blitz Celica vs. 350Z
I am finally puttin the test to my Celica again. I was able to stretch a new Z heading on to the Belt. This a great place to run because theres a 3 lane straight and then a 1 lane dip to the Hway left. I got a great jump at the light. He was reving his engine at me and I knew it was. I kept as cool as possible and got off the clutch with my S/C engaged and revved it just to 7000 RPM. At that point I was only a nose ahead, but I revved out second to 8500 RPM and he lost alot of ground, maybe a full car length because in 3rd I could see the front of his car. I got on the Hway and he followed me through some traffic, but I had the advantage at that point. There was nothing he could do to get ahead of me anyway, I owned him. Celica is runnin well, Did this Using.... Blitz S/C with Ragnorak Cams, Quaife LSD, TRD Short Shifter, Headers, Exaust, Oil Cooler, Tein SS, Hotchkis Bars and links. Next Race is gonna be agains my own stock Evo IX MR.

your 9 should curb stomp your blown GTS...106 traps STOCK...But hey, it's yours so it doesn't matter, you can just get in it and drive it anytime you feel like
But nice kill on the Z...stock they aren't monsters, the new ones are a bit faster though mid 13's stock now.. |

funny ^ you must be talking about a turbo celica, at least bus lenghts on the freeway vs a charged celica. i raced my friends evo a while back, and i got owned. i also killed a couple 350z with my simple setup.

looks like trouble from my Celica. I was thinkin I was hi 13s in the S/C Celica GTS, but I never have tried to time it. Hoping to make it a contest. I have a really good driver to put in the MR and then we will swap to see if there is any change. I will try to film it.

You are probably high to mid 13's in the Celica....But your Evo 9 MR has a low 13 pass in it stock (I think some have even clipped high 12's)...Fanboys here though will swear a blown GTS owns the streets..I'm looking forward to the vids...Make SURE you do a couple rolls too...so the fanboys can clearly see what it means when one car traps higher than the other..

I made a guess at the outcome and i get the "ricer" and "fanboy" comments thrown at me. Lovely!

On a race from a roll I could see the GT-S pulling depending on what kind of numbers it puts down. From a dig I would give it to the Evo. Any sort of modding and you are in the 12's all day. (12.7 on reflash!!)

I'd like to know how are the cams running with the S/C ? What kind of engine management do you have? Were you able to gain anything with the cams? Stage 2 or 3?? Thx! Keep it up! |
